Sunset Sailing & Snorkel
Snorkeling Playa Conchal
 

To end a perfect day and start the perfect night! Glide along the pacific coastline toward a tucked away bay, scanning the ocean for whales, dolphins, manta rays and turtles. Anchoring at the beach you can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, and walks. On the return trip catch an amazing sunset while enjoying an amazing feast of fresh local food.

Also included: open bar, multiple beverages, water, food.

 

Playa Conchal name is derived from the sand which is made up of billions of crushed shells. Tuced in a sheltered bay it is also safe swimming for young children. Snorkeling equipment is available for rent on the beach. There is even some great souvenir shopping.

 Turtle Tour

For thousands of years leatherback sea turtles, weighing up to 2000 lbs,  return to lay their eggs at Playa Grande. Tha Las Baulas, are the largest marine reptiles and one of the most endangered and fewer are seen nesting. A tour can be arranged at the National Park Center

Community Fiestas
 

 

Every weekend from November to July is fiesta-time Costa Rican style in small towns though out the region. Featured is bull riding, traditional food, marimba music, and dancing. Guanacaste cowboys show off their exquiste variety of Costa Rican horse breeds.

A pastoral region, Guanacaste offers this activity along the shoreline, in the mountains, and through their communities. Horseback-riding from the villa offers trail riding along the estuary, no beach tours due to residing inside the Las Baulas National Park. 

Enjoy cruising along the 2 miles of Playa Grande, and low tide is a perfect time to cross into Tamarindo Beach.  Stunning Mountain tours are available offering magnificent mountain and ocean views as well as remote and secluded beaches. Hills and river crossings provided.
